Colts, Patriots SHOWDOWN...but will the Colts show up? (old thread)

Peyton Manning just carved up Denver out in the mile high air (32/39, 345 yards) the altitude may change a little this upcoming weekend but the climate could be much worse, his arch nemesis Bill Belichick will be cooking up one of his famous schemes to stymie the Colts yet again.

The biggest question though IMO , can the Colts stop Maroney and get New England off the field?

Peyton Manning has seen enough of these guys over the years.

The league likes to send Indy to New England it seems, all but on up in NE.

Indys only win against New England was when the entire NE D was hurt. Last year they played about 7 or 8 non starters.

IF the weather is crappy, I will unload on NE.

If the weather is good, it is likely a no play or very small play on NE for me.

I like the over assuming decent weather. Indy will score 17-28 pts. I expect Maroney to be chewing up 10-15 yards a pop. Looking for a 27-24 or 31-24 type game.

i think the colts take this one then win the rematch in the afc champ game with a huge comeback... and i'll go out on limb with mr cleo and say peyton wins his first ring, along with super bowl mvp over the bears.

not only will hester run the opening kick back to give the bears a 7-0 lead with 14:49 left in the 1st qtr...the bears will never really be in the game and it will go under (primarily due to vinateri missing a chip shot at the end of the 1st half).
